It just means that we will not give the role to someone else who might apply for the same spot until you've applied and your first post has been reviewed, or until the original hold expires. How To Join:
Before you apply please make sure the character you want to play is open via the Taken list linked at the bottom of this page. Holds are 48 hours. Extensions can be given. A hold doesn't guarantee acceptance and others may still apply for a role that's held and/or applied for, as we're not first come first serve. Journals must consist of names ONLY. First, middle, last, variations of it. No nicknames or character names. Yes, you may PM your application if you don't wish to comment with it but comments are screened.

Friends and AIM list can be found in the shaped journal. Should you fail to request membership AND intro within 48 hours, the role is up for grabs again, however you may re-apply as long as it's open.
